The NFL Deals with Major Setbacks
As we enter the sixth week of the 2012 NFL football season, there have already been several setbacks. The referees refused to work, protesting their low salaries. In the beginning of the season, the NFL announced the arrival of replacement referees, the league has been paying a heavy price due to the inexperienced calls made by them.
In week three there was a touchdown pass thrown to Seattle Seahawk player, Golden Tate. One official called an interception and the other called a touchdown.
“The ball was clearly intercepted,” said junior, Coop Pugh. “Green Bay lost because the replacement refs have no idea what they are doing.”
