Saturday was a very special evening in Paris called Nuit Blanche, when tons of museums are open all night and contemporary art fills the streets and national landmarks. Even a couple metro lines were open all night.
Obviously, we wanted to take advantage of this amazing (and free) opportunity. First, Jane, Anna, and I went out to our friend Tory’s house for dinner. She lives right on the edge of Paris with a French family and she kindly invited us all over for a home-cooked meal. And let me just say, after dinner I was about ready to propose to her. We had poulet à l’orange (the butcher was out of duck that day), with spinach and rice, then strawberries with Grand Marnier and whipped cream. YUM.
After dinner, we headed back into Paris for a night of pretending to be artsy. Anna headed home because she had a bad cold, but…
